The Director of Sales is responsible for managing and overseeing the sales operations for Managed Services. The main responsibilities include designing a sales plan to meet sales targets, developing, and cultivating relationships with clients and evaluating costs to determine pricing for enVista's Managed Services offerings when selling to customers. This position manages the sales personnel and their collective sales quotas on an annual basis.

Position Summary:
The Director of Sales is responsible for managing and overseeing the sales operations for Managed Services. The main responsibilities include designing a sales plan to meet sales targets, developing, and cultivating relationships with clients and evaluating costs to determine pricing for enVista's Managed Services offerings when selling to customers. This position manages the sales personnel and their collective sales quotas on an annual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Understand Managed Services industry-specific trends and landscape.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
- Overall responsibility/accountability for hitting annual sales objectives and goals of the team.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of enVista managed services and opportunities including client stories and case studies specific to the client prospects industry and service need.
- Manage the coordination of the legal process by collaborating closely with legal counsel resources both internally and externally (i.e., Mutual NDA, Master Services Consulting Agreements, etc.). Note: This does not include negotiating the legal language, but rather coordinate the timeliness of finalizing legal contracts as a part of the overall close process.
- Manage and develop relationships with multiple business partners to support enVista's managed services solution offerings.
- Ensure sales team members are considering risk and adhere to all enVista credit check policies.
- Ensure sales team members are registering and maintaining all deals in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales Representatives, Business Development, and Business Leaders.
Education, Skills and Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, IT, Business, or related field. Master's Degree in same field preferred.
- 10 years of successful commercial sales experience in supply chain, information technology solutions or related field (preferably within Managed Services)
- 5+ years managing a team of sales professionals
- Requires Microsoft Office proficiency for use of daily tool
- Requires strong communication, both written and verbal, strong interpersonal management, and presentation skills.
- Travel expected - 50%+
