As the Senior Director of Organizational Development & Performance, you'll be a key player on our Talent & Employee Success leadership team, influencing our business in crucial areas: organizational development and performance improvement. HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
- Set organizational development strategy. Drive organizational development strategy by conducting assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas. Collaborate with CSuite Executives, Vice Presidents, and People Partners to tailor solutions for enhancing employee engagement, learning and development, and overall organizational performance.
- Lead Performance Acceleration. Lead performance management processes, including goal-setting, feedback, and reviews. Facilitate change management and team-building activities to improve Cohesity’s culture and foster effective collaboration
- Influence the Culture. Serve as a trusted advisor to CSuite Executives and Vice Presidents, co-creating policies and solutions to enhance Cohesity's identity as an impactful workplace. Integrate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) principles into organizational development strategies for a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and execute global talent management and organizational development initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of organizational needs and develop strategic programs to support business goals including manager capability and leadership engagement opportunities
- Responsible for optimizing organizational effectiveness through services including talent matching & movement, succession planning and organizational design & structure
- Collaborate with leaders to understand current and future skill needs and develop learning & development programs accordingly
- Implement learning technologies and platforms to facilitate efficient and effective knowledge sharing and learning across the organization
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in organizational development, talent management, and learning & development
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting employee engagement and retention
- Integrate DEIB initiatives into all aspects of talent management and organizational development
- Analyze data and create reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with the Business. Act as a strategic consultant to leadership, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness and performance improvement. Leverage your unique skills, actively seek growth opportunities, and contribute to the development of the Talent & Employee Success team. Your strengths will play a vital role in making us stronger and better as individuals and as a team.
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
- Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or industrial/organizational psychology.
- 15+ more years of comparable experience, preferably in a high-tech environment
- Expert consulting skills, optimizing talent solutions for both in-person and virtual environments.Â
- Experience developing and implementing a cutting-edge, global performance management strategy
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to tailor style and delivery for a wide variety of levels and audiences.
- Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Strong data savvy and critical thinking. Demonstrated capability to drive sound decision-making and solution planning, leveraging quality insights from data.Â
- Excellent (and creative) problem-solving, project management, execution, and change management skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills include the ability to distill complex concepts into readily consumable information.Â
- Expert relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to drive business results through partnership and effective collaboration.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
US Pay Range
$200,000—$265,000 USD

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
