The Sr. Director, Sales will be responsible for revenue-generating activities servicing the HME, Pharmacy & Home Infusion landscape while supporting the company's mission of empowering people to live happier, healthier, and higher-quality lives in the comfort of their home or wherever they may live.

The Sr. Director, Sales will take on the responsibility for driving revenue with customers for the company and directly influencing the future of the business by focusing on new business sales and installed client base sales. With a passion for growing the business, the sales leader will translate initial traction into lasting growth. This person will own the development and implementation of a detailed, repeatable, and predictable sales strategy and process, and to build a strong sales team to accelerate growth and achieve aggressive targets. In addition to strong individual sales skills, this sales leader must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to attract, develop, and motivate high performing sales professionals.

Let's talk about Responsibilities

  • Develop growth strategies with the executive team and key stakeholders
  • Prospect and close relationships with key target clients while building lasting relationships with key customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth
  • Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting
  • Fill management gaps by building and training individuals and teams in Sales and Account Management
  • Develop and implement robust sales management processes - pipeline, account planning, and proposals
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with C-level executives of key target clients
  • Evangelize the company through participation in key industry events
  • Successful in finding any and every go-to-market opportunity that provides leverage
  • Ensure that the team meets / exceeds quarterly and annual sales objectives and quotas
  • Passionate about technology, a natural, credible evangelist, and experienced in translating that passion into business impact for customers
  • Exceptional consultative and communication skills
  • A strong understanding from a sales perspective of accounting, business, or healthcare solutions
  • Ability to analyze and assess existing client needs and requirements through a consultative process and sell additional components to existing base
  • Readily adapt and lead team through changing requirements of the business.
  • Closely collaborate with Sales Enablement function in team development activities.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25 - 30%.

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 5 - 10+ years of experience in selling healthcare enterprise solutions with a preference of selling into the acute and/or post-acute markets (ideally into HME and Pharmacy/Home Infusion space)
  • 3 - 5 years of sales leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven success with complex enterprise sales characterized by long sales cycles, multiple decision makers, and coordination of numerous supporting resources
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a relevant field preferred
  • Possess unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character with a history of demonstrating high moral and ethical behavior
  • Self-starter, results driven, highly motivated, high energy, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quota objectives
  • While this person will work remotely, the preferred location is either Eastern or Central time zone.
  • Working experience with sales and marketing automation systems to be able to successfully deliver pipeline and activity reporting. We are currently using Salesforce.com.
  • Critical Thinking; strategic and highly analytical

  • Strong communication skills possessing an innate ability to channel different points of view
  • Able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly
  • Create a team first culture while achieving key objectives

  • Maturity - provide a good balance of risk taking and judgment; Is aggressive and confident
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
