We are looking for a seasoned software engineering leader to drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap execution of our homegrown, mission-critical manufacturing and e-commerce applications.

       What you will Do

• Own the full lifecycle of our home-grown, mission-critical manufacturing and eCommerce systems.
• Lead a team of software developers, QA and DevOps engineers through one-on-ones, feedback meetings and retrospectives in efforts to improve the team’s quality of delivery.
• Build a culture of learning and sharing technology insights across the engineering teams.
• Provide mentorship and guidance through individuals’ career growth, and leading teams towards increased efficiency, productivity, and performance.
• Partner with other business and technical leaders to build multi-year technology vision, strategy and roadmaps.
• Resolve competing priorities while guiding your areas of ownership through design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Measure and review operational metrics (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement that support the sustainable delivery of quality software.
• Define, adopt and continuously improve software development standards, tooling and best practices to help the organization achieve short and long-term goals.
• Uphold Agile software engineering practices to improve how the team performs including fast release cycles, team success, introspection, growth mindset, trust, and transparency.
• Drive improvements that directly affect the performance quality, stability, scalability, and security of our software products.
• Establish standards for the design, architecture and scalable disaster recovery plans.
  What you will Bring to the Team
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of management experience leading software development teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Deep understanding of computer science and software engineering concepts.
• Proven experience managing the full software development life cycle.
• Experience managing software applications from development through implementation.
• Experience in managing geographically dispersed software development teams
• Solid understanding of modern software technologies and practices including microservices, code repository driven automation, and container-based technologies
• Experience in managing production software applications running in cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to manage diverse competing tasks, prioritizing, and staying on top of multiple work streams
• Ability to work in a fast paced, agile development environment.
