Sr. Director, Solutions Strategy

What we’re looking for…

ScienceLogic is looking for a Senior Director of Solutions Strategy who will lead our overall product integration strategy and solutions evangelism to both external and internal audiences.  This critical role will require extensive experience doing technical market and financial analysis and aligning our various product teams on a detailed execution strategy that connects customer demand with AIOps and ITIM market expansion. 

We are seeking an outcome-oriented product leader that brings years of experience advising software teams and executive stakeholders on market direction, competitive awareness, and customer success stories all while aligning an economic focus to a Solutions practice.  The ideal candidate will have an established background in matching customer challenges with detailed market analysis that nets a positive Return on Investment for Solution projects and competitive differentiation.  This role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to present to various audiences on the value of ScienceLogic Solutions.

This is a tremendous opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual with an operations background to get in with a company experiencing exponential growth in a rapidly expanding AIOps market.

What you’ll be doing…

• Collaborate and prioritize projects to a team of talented software engineers responsible for the design and development of ScienceLogic Solutions.  Align projects to the overall product roadmap.
• Provide market research and detailed analysis on Total Addressable Market for target Solution areas.
• Connect with other Product, Sales and Marketing team leaders on competitive analysis and assist with building a rich library of competitive Solution insights.
• Work with Solutions Product Managers on tracking customer usage statistics by technology integration and connecting this data with customer growth projections and Sales deal expectations.
• Implement and report Solutions performance metrics to executive management
• Build processes across multiple ScienceLogic teams to gather insights into cross company Solutions activity and funnel work to the appropriate work stream based upon its market priority.
• Engage with customers to better understand their Solutions use cases and desired outcomes.
• Build and maintain a customer use case library on unique ScienceLogic customer stories tied to our top Solutions integrations.
• Become a thought leader on the direction of market demand for ScienceLogic Solutions and collaborate with Product Marketing and the analyst community
• Assist with the creation of blog and video content tied to customer Solution stories

Qualities you possess…

• Experience leading product strategy and market analysis in the IT software industry
• Deep knowledge on the art of Product Management and understanding the ‘Why’
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related degree and 15+ years of IT project management or market analyst experience
• Demonstrated experience working within an AGILE software development.
• Experience with a variety of project management processes for tracking costs, time, and usage which is connected to sales and customer consumption
• Comfortable with public speaking, evangelism and presenting to executives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to ‘read the room’.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships and motivate, develop, and mentor team members to grow their careers at ScienceLogic. Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
• Quick learner with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, logical analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Mid-stage start-up technical management experience is a plus.
• Background and in-depth knowledge of network, cloud and application monitoring/management tools is also a plus.
