Senior Director, Technology Operations & Governance
The Senior Director, Technology Operations & Governance thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready for a challenge. You will be responsible for leading operational improvement initiatives and maintaining governance process for the technology team and collaborating teams. Playing a key role in ensuring that our technology initiatives align with our business objectives and strategic goals, you will work closely with our executive team, including the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), to oversee and manage our technology operations. You will support lean processes for achieving optimal design, driving effective prioritization, establishing OKRs, and facilitating definitions of business processes. You will serve as an integral part of the Technology team in managing team members, coaching, training, and driving collaboration to ensure effective scalability.
Essential Functions
- Work closely with the CTO and other key stakeholders to develop and execute technology strategy and roadmap that align with the company's business objectives.
- Drive technology initiatives, from ideation to execution, working with technology teams and their collaborators across the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operations, and finance, to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and deliver value to our patients and partners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key technology partners and vendors, ensuring alignment with our goals and objectives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across the technology team, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and best practice sharing.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and objectives & key results (OKRs) to measure technology effectiveness and value delivery.
- Monitor and manage technology budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources and alignment with business objectives.
- Cultivate and support cross-functional outcome-oriented mindset.
- Represent a collective voice of Technology in operational discussions with a balance between short-term and long-term value-add, customer-facing priorities and non-customer-facing priorities.
- Lead the Data Governance Committee and drive policy and procedure development as maturity requires.
- Act as a core member of the tech leadership team, contributing to the culture of Strive Technology community.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of leadership experience in technology management or related field, including operations, planning and performance management.
- 3+ years of people management experience
- 3+ years of experience at a healthcare start-up (pre-Series C funding) ideally in population health
- 3+ years of experience managing against budget for a 50+ person organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating a culture of process development with a focus on efficiency over administrative detail.
- Experience establishing a culture of data governance and associated processes.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional effort to initiate and deliver high-impact data science projects.
- Result-oriented approach with a can-do, entrepreneurial mindset
Annual Salary Range: $147,300.00-$190,100.00
Strive Health offers competitive compensation and benefits. An annual performance bonus, determined by company and individual performance, is available for many roles and aligned to Strive Health guidelines.
