Sr. DTC Product Manager
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for articulating the vision and the strategy to the team and stakeholders, ensuring there is alignment and successful execution of the strategy.
- Own a prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Seek out opportunities to refine and expand our product offerings based on customer feedback, technological advances, and market changes.
- Dive deep into consumer behavior, feedback, and market trends to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate on setting quarterly OKRs and lead weekly activities to achieving them.
- Maintains product and testing roadmap aligned to key objective and strategy and drives its execution.
- Functions as Scrum product owner for the Direct to consumer (DTC) line of business, working closely with engineering, QA and UX. Working closely with a Business Analyst, owns the product backlog, responsible for user stories, acceptance criteria and signing off on the completion.
- Supports Scrum best practices and techniques, working to deliver value iteratively.
- Maintains A/B testing roadmap - setting up experiments, observing and reporting on results, and instituting findings.
- Work through various data, quantitative and qualitative, to extract insights and feed them into product and testing roadmaps.
- Effective communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the organization. Keeps them abreast of latest releases, updates, issues. Voice of the product to the organization.
- Works closely with UX/UI designer to ensure they align on objectives and key results.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner
- 2+ years working on B2C digital products.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science and Economics or equivalent experience required.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities, tackling problems, identifying solutions, and effectively communicating up and down the org.
- Familiar with marketing funnels and worked with marketing setting up and testing marketing landing pages.
- Solid understanding of design thinking, consumer psychology, UX best practices and patterns.
- Experienced setting up experiments: creating hypothesis, setting up the tests, synthesizing results, and extracting insights.
- Passionate about developing new products and process improvement ideas.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean, agile environment.
- Data-driven - excellent grasp of data and analytics: from web behavioral to operational metrics to help drive decision and new product ideas.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership of a cross-functional Scrum Team to achieving business objectives.
- Solid understanding of web usability, user centric design and design best practices.
- Solid technical understanding of development and QA.
- Solid web analytics, preferably GA, experience.
- Self-stater, detail oriented and great at time management.
