Sr. EHS Specialist

For Safety support services in the Field area.

WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT: 

The Technical Part:

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least five (5) years of exposure in Industrial and Constructions projects within the regulated industry. 
• 30hrs. OSHA Certification (General Industry or Construction)
• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Shift: Administrative & according to business needs.
• Good organizational and problem solving skills.
• Experience in:
  • Equipment safety & environmental assessment 
  • Joh Hazards Analysis 
  • Establishing safety standards and policies 
  • Developing technical project safety report

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

• Inspects projects area to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
• Equipment safety assessment.
• Environmental assessment.
• Reviews and approves all subcontractor’s safety plans.
• Verifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to related government agencies.
• Promotes safe practices at the job site.
• Enforces safety guidelines.
• Reports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulations.
• Job hazard analysis support. 
• Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
• Response to any safety concerns.
• Generates and develops technical project safety reports.
• Maintains staff informed of activities & progress.
• Coordinate and Communicate effectively thru all department levels (engineering, manufacturing, management).
