Key Responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain an approved supply base.
  • Preparation of RFQ packages
  • Analysis of supplier quotations
  • Recommend sourcing decisions based on cost, quality, delivery and financial stability
  • Negotiation of all commercial aspects of material / component, indirect and services purchases.
  • Drive supplier cost savings through on-going negotiations.
  • Support program launches through participation in the PDP process
  • Maintain purchasing records, process internal eRequisitions and issue Purchase Orders as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Business Administration required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Purchasing Experience required
  • Electronics Purchasing Experience considered an asset
  • CPM/CPIM certification is an asset
