RESUMEN GENERAL (SUMMARY):

Provide a variety of engineering work to fully support the activities related to New Solution process/products projects introduction in the Aibonito facility. Development, coordinate, and perform any validation required for subassemblies or finish Solution product manufactured in Aibonito facilities.

TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES (DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES):

Works under minimal direction to identify manufacturing problems and respond to production requests for assistance.

Perform and assists in the implementation of appropriate process or product designs, changes, materials selection and manufacturing techniques. Perform process or product validations using Local or Divisional engineering resources.

Participate in the development of new processes or products from concept/design stages through introduction into manufacturing.

Work with Product Development Process Requirements to fully develop products for International markets.

Conduct process or product transfer activities from Divisional or International facilities to the Aibonito manufacturing areas.

Coordinate and perform Local and Divisional engineering project activities under minimal direction.

Implement Value Improvement Projects by analyzing specific processes and supporting the Aibonito plant VIP program.

Perform statistical and analytical analysis on process or product related conditions. Use Six-sigma engineering tools.

Interact under minimal direction with Divisional groups as well as other International facilities. Observe safety rules at all time. Observe confidentiality and data privacy rules.

DEMANDA FISICA (PHYSICAL DEMANDS):

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

EDUCACIÓN Y/O EXPERIENCIA (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE):

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Three to Five (3-5) years of experience in Solutions Manufacturing process.

CUALIFICACIONES (QUALIFICATIONS):

Strong Experience in Cleaning, Mixing, Filling, Over-pouching and any other validations related to Solution Manufacturing process. Prefer experience with TQM methods (e.g. "six sigma") Display a solid technical understanding of engineering principles and procedures (e.g. CAD and its application or scheduling a series of technical tasks applying software-based tools. Understand and articulate how own role ties within function or field. Demonstration application of engineering principles on individual/small projects. Uses computer applications to do process analysis. Excellent problem solving techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills. Six-sigma Engineering considered a plus. Knowledge of Design Control Requirements. Knowledge of GMP, FDA, OSHA, QLP. Some traveling required.

Bilingual (Spanish and English) Oral and Writing.
