Sr. Engineers

We'd Love to See:
Sr. Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the US (HQ: Chicago, IL). Design, implement and maintain software test tools and automation framework. Participate in up-front design and analysis, ensure quality, deploy data into production, monitor health of the IT software applications and services. Deploy services with emphasis on data management. Communicate with team of software developers, product managers and test engineers. Develop test-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, bug reports and procedures. Technical environment: Software testing with SQL, NoSQL, Mongo DB, Linux (Centos, OSX, Bash, Shell Scripting); message brokers (Active MQ/Kafka/RabbitMQ); data-focused services; scripting and programming languages (Java, Bash, JQuery, JavaScript, Nodejs, MySQL, Python, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS); Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Postman, TestNG, JMeter); Rundeck; JSON, XML; Postgres or Snowflake; data-focused services (SOAP, REST); testing API-based services; containerization and microservices using Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD (Jenkins); Agile tools (Rally, Bugzilla, Jira, Confluence, TestRail); version control system/configuration (SCM) (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket); Configuration Management Tools (Puppet); Rundeck; Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Looker); Cloud Technologies (Amazon Web Services, EC2, Amazon S3, CloudWatch, CloudFront, RDS, Amazon Cognito); IDE and Editors (IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code); build tools (Maven, Gradle, Npm).
Education and Experience Requirements• Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information/Instrumentation Technology or any Engineering field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in software development or software quality assurance testing OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information/Instrumentation Technology or any Engineering field plus 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or in software development or software quality assurance testing required.• Required Skills: Software testing experience with SQL, NoSQL, Postgres, Mongo DB, Linux (Centos, OSX, Bash, Shell Scripting); Active MQ/RabbitMQ; data-focused services; scripting and programming languages (Java, JQuery, JavaScript, Nodejs, MySQL, Python, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS); Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Postman, TestNG, JMeter; SOAP, REST; testing API-based services; microservices using Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD, Jenkins; version control; Git or other SCM; Puppet; Rundeck; AWS, EC2, S3; CloudWatch, CloudFront; Agile.
