A DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Sr. ETL Developer I designs and builds ETL workflow according to Tandem's datatechnology architecture and solutions. Will play a key role in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software applications focusing primarily on data processing using ETL tools, SQL and languages such as Python. This position will extract, transform, and load structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources. This position will assist the team with the collection of specifications, the development of documentation required for implementing solutions. Builds processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multipledisparateinputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required.

• Responsible for using ETL tools for design, development, and implementation of ETL workflow to support development of enterprise data warehouse.
• Provides ongoing support of the EDW solution such as maintaining ETL and SQL packages and procedures.
• Completes standard database maintenance including job monitoring.
• Independently troubleshoots database and ETL issues.
• Responsible for the documenting system changes as well as standards for use.
• Creates end user training materials as needed.
• Works independently to complete project and work tasks; communicates with department manager and team regarding progress of work as needed.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.

YOU'RE AWESOME AT:

• Demonstrated proficiency in ETL/DataMart development using SSIS /Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in best ETL practices and logging mechanism.
• Expert T-SQL skills including proven ability to read, write and debug complex SQL queries.
• Proficiency in developing with the Microsoft BI product stack.
• SSRS, SSMS, SSIS and SSAS experience required.
• Proficiency in development using Python will be a plus.
• Experience with OLTP data sources (MS Dynamics AX & CRM preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Must be a team-player, oriented toward customer service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Change Management Systems experience required, JIRA preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency working with extremely large datasets and disparate data source systems.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software

EXTRA AWESOME:

• B.S. in computer science or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.

• 5 plus years of experience working in a ETL development environment.
