Farm Bureau Financial Services is looking for a Sr ETL developer to join the Producer Incentive Compensation team. This individual will analyze, design, develop, and maintain Informatica code of high complexity. Also, you will create and support best practices and maintain adequate documentation, to support team processes and ensure we have completed the appropriate steps.

What you'll do:

• Analyze and evaluate system applications. Develop new and maintain existing applications of medium to high complexity including developing application code, testing completed applications, and developing required documentation as defined by company development standards.
• Conduct research and maintain high-level of knowledge in systems software to ensure operations and implementations are of the highest quality. Assist the business with process improvements where needed.
• Communicate with developers on the problem resolution process and provide information pertaining to the system.
• Give guidance and direction, as needed, to development staff on technical matters.
• Keep application development manager, project managers and team members informed on statuses of deliverables.
• Build relationships with business and IT partners outside of the team to ensure alignment with corporate goals and strategy.
• Respond to and resolve customer service requests in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner for external customers, department staff, and other Farm Bureau Financial Services personnel.
• Keep up to date on system development techniques and apply those techniques when analyzing and developing solutions for the organization.
• Participate in on call rotation as needed to ensure 24-hour support of production systems. Assist in determining root cause of system problems by conferring with technical, business, and infrastructure personnel.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of technical and business processes across FBFS footprint.

What it takes to join our team:

• College degree or equivalent required.
• 3 + years of extensive experience with Informatic required ( IDMC strongly preferred).
• Strong skills in Informatic PowerCenter 10.1 or later, unix commands, GitHub - Must be able to demonstrate skills in interview.
• IDMC experience strongly preferred.
• 3 + years of experience in SQL.
• 2 + years' experience with agile SDLC methodology.
• Knowledge of data handling methods, development techniques, and one or more development programming languages.
• Experience working with business and technical partners across multiple organizational levels.
• Oral and written communication skills appropriate to this position.
