Sr. Expediting Specialist

Responsibilities

•      Responsible for Post-Award activities including, but not limited to Kick-off Meetings, managing Engineering Deliverables from Vendor, Weekly Vendor Coordination Calls with Engineering, Commercial Meeting of Minutes, Change Order Management, Pre-Inspection Meetings and Reporting
•        Accountable for Vendor Performance and feedback from all interfacing disciplines.
•        Mitigate any issues between Vendor and Enviva on deliverables, elevate and communicate projected outcomes and expectations with Procurement Manager
•        Prior to shipment, verify fabricated equipment meets contractual requirements and align with Supplier Quality Release
•      Close-out of Vendor Order with final deliverables and invoicing

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend the Contract/PO with Vendors
• Accountability to manage contractual obligations of Vendors or Service Providers
• Reporting weekly progress for all responsible packages to Procurement and Project Management
•  Driving Engineering completion internally and externally
•  Strong Written Skills
• Conducting productive meetings with Agendas, Meeting of Minutes with actions and expected completion dates
• Follow-up actions through completion and closure
• Invoicing validation
• Bachelor Degree in Business or supply chain management and or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart

·        Previous Expediting experience of 8-15 years with an Engineering, Procurement, Construction Company managing expediting activities for multiple packages.

·        Managing large or complex Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Bulk packages where the value of the package is $1-$50M in value

·        Advanced Degree in Business with emphasis on supply chain management and or equivalent experience.

·        Having a technical background in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation with commercial knowledge and abilities

Travel requirements

• Extensive travel to vendor facilities and jobsites
