Position Summary

Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Financial Analysis matters, often requiring coordination between cross-functional stakeholders. These teams include: Rebate Analytics, Formulary Consulting, Negotiations, Strategic Markets Account Management and others. Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and documenting financial analysis projects or financial reporting. Maintains and improves variance and opportunity analysis with provide reasoning why there are changes over time to key business decision makes. Internally recognized and trusted as the rebate modeling subject matter expert along with their peers.

Essential Functions

  • Financial analytic support- provide analytic support for key strategic market initiatives.
  • Rebate performance and guarantee tracking- maintain and update the financial value associated with key strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve variance and opportunity analysis
  • Rebate reporting- create, maintain, and distribute macro/micro level rebate reporting.
  • Other Ad-Hoc Projects/Requests as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree, Finance, Healthcare or related area/MBA a plus
  • Clinical a plus; but not required
  • At least 5 - 7 years relevant work experience
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Excellent quantitative skills and ability to perform complex mathematical analysis and advanced problem solving.
  • Excellent PC skills - including Excel, PowerPoint MS Access,
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical rebate contracts a plus
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced - ever changing environment
  • Excellent relationship building and cross functional skills
