Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to innovate, win, and grow with us in Portsmouth, NH.

This role can be hybrid or 100% remote

As a member of our Global Finance Team, you will play a key role in the strategic financial direction of the company.  In this role you will have day-to-day interaction with finance senior management, business leaders and other functions including accounting and IT.  In addition to supporting financial leadership to the organization, this fast-paced role will be involved in forecasting, M&A, planning, budgeting, and reporting.

How you’ll contribute:

• Support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across segments and functional areas.
• Drive visibility and accountability for Bottomline’s Legal Spend Management segment performance against targets.
• Partner with Product (CPO) organization to drive strategic initiatives and performance
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting
• Build and maintain detailed cost forecasting and reporting models
• Develop financial analysis, variance analysis & modeling
• Standard monthly, quarterly reporting
• Track and analyze KPIs
• Drive efficiencies and consistency across internal reporting
• Assist with the optimization and administration of financial reporting systems

What will make you successful:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant progressive experience, software industry preferred
• Proven track record of working with teams to drive change designed to drive efficiency and the continued growth of the organization
• Self-motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement
• Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong system and Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to meet deadlines & independently manage multiple projects and requests effectively
