Summary:
ZipRecruiter is a rapidly growing company seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst to support the finance team. This is an exciting, high-visibility position at the heart of our high growth company.

You are hardworking, detailed-oriented, curious and demonstrate both a strong sense of ownership as well as good business sense. You obsess over understanding the “why” behind movements in the business. You possess a strong collaborative approach and are able to build effective relationships with colleagues across functions. You have strong organizational and communication skills and are able to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities and findings in both written and verbal forms. You’re always looking for a better, scalable way to accomplish a task or create a self-managing process.
Key Focuses:
- Manage month-end financial reporting process; consolidate and report Company financials, derive key insights and communicate findings to Company stakeholders
- Advance our budgeting and reporting infrastructure using recognized best practices while accommodating ZipRecruiter’s unique business
- Manage Company’s headcount planning, forecasting, and tracking processes
- Develop departmental spending budgets and forecasts and drive accountability
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly operating expense variance analysis, analyze results, and communicate findings to leadership
- Go “deep” into the analytics/data to uncover the key trends/insights, and then effectively communicate with them business partners to support them in making the most informed decision possible.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience on an FP&A team in a mid-stage private or public SaaS (software as a service) and/or technology company, prior experience in investment banking or management consulting a plus
- 2+ years of finance experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Academic background in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Applied Math, Statistics or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Expert level modeling skills in Microsoft Excel. SQL or other database experience a plus
- Strong familiarity with Netsuite and experience with budgeting and forecasting tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with process improvements
- Proven ability to create elevated reporting processesÂ
- Ability to effectively communicate information to Key Stakeholders
- Experience owning specific pieces of FP&A with little supervision
- Experience with deck building/PowerPoint

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,500-$137,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
