Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Massillon, OH (Hybrid Schedule)

As an integral part of our Corporate Service Center team, Your role as Sr. Analyst supports central financial planning, reporting and operational metric tracking for Shearer’s Supply Chain (manufacturing, procurement, logistic, product costing); including forecasting, annual budget development, weekly/monthly variance analysis & monthly cost reviews. This position will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of and executing enhancements to Corporate reports, forecast and annual budget tools and templates and tools processes. This position will report directly to the Supply Chain Finance Sr Manager.

Your seat at the table

• Working collaboratively with Finance and Supply Chain team members across the US and Canada ensure correct data interpretation and reporting.
• Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools (primarily Excel and Dashboards).
• Supporting monthly close activities including preparation/review of Accounting journal entries.
• Analyzing financial data and creating financial models that support decision making and enabling delivery of the forecast/budget targets, cost structure optimization and margins improvement.
• Contributing to a high-performing Finance team; you and your manager will also focus on your own personal development and the development of your peers.
• Executing ad-hoc analysis to support dynamic business objectives.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or related field
• Basic accounting skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and/or intermediate programing/coding knowledge are a plus
• Advanced degrees, CMA and/or CPA certifications are a plus
