Sr. Financial Analyst, Product Development

Your Role:

As the Sr. Financial Analyst, Product Development position will be responsible for leading the development and analysis of the BOM across FF’s various programs to ensure accurate measurements and change control through timely reporting.  In addition, you will be the finance point person for cost reduction efforts, which will follow and forecast all efforts to optimize the BOM and lead to improved profitability across the vehicle programs. This position is onsite at FF HQ in Gardena. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of the BOM, identifying potential changes
• Prepare detailed and summary level BOM analysis for management reporting
• Document and assess cost reduction ideas and assumption parameters, presenting analysis to management on overall impact to program profitability
• Evaluate and identify impact of resourcing or localization on the BOM
• Organize, analyze, and maintain a monthly cadence of BOM-related reports from the program comparing target to actual costs, while identifying ways to improve accuracy and completeness
• Develop and maintain strong communication with functional program managers and staff
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation process

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a self-starter able to lead the process with little need for constant direction
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Project management
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in bill of materials
• 2+ years of cost estimate or related experience
• Experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1 supplier) is a must
• Exceptional Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Strong communication, teamwork, cooperation, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and are a MUST in our company

• Possesses knowledge and experience across multiple functions within product development and manufacturing
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Annual Salary Range:

$87,000 - $110,000, plus benefits and incentive plans
