Job Summary
This position provides financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (Corp FP&A) within Harley-Davidson. It will coordinate the management reporting consolidation of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow monthly/quarterly results and annual budgeting and forecasting activities. Additionally, the role will provide insight through analytics to influence revenue and margin performance and strategic investment decisions for the Company.

Job Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive financial support for Corporate FP&A activities, including, but not limited to, financial modeling and analysis, variance reporting, capital support, and consolidation of Management Reporting for annual operating plan, capital budgets and long-range planning
- Develops insightful analytics to understand, forecast, and influence financial decisions with business partners
- Coordinates among global stakeholders the consolidation of financial reporting and planning activities to support internal management reporting, Board of Directors presentation deliverables, and support of quarterly earnings release reporting for Senior Leadership
- Actively participates in Finance Modernization workstreams, being open and willing to think differently, share and influence new ideas for eliminating and/or modernizing work, and become an advocate for change in the broader organization
- Cultivates finance/business relationships, which includes learning the business, responding to evolving priorities and understanding the impacts of decisions on key stakeholders
- Assumes leadership responsibility as necessary, including being an advocate for new ideas and serving as an example for coworkers
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Education Specifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. A CPA or equivalent is desired.
Required
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years related work and/or public accounting experience
- Competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling
- Strong spreadsheet skills; Strong database skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management
- Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective; and excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints
- Experience in a manufacturing company with a wholesale distribution model and understanding of volume, mix, rate margin analysis and modeling is preferred but not required
- SAP experience a plus.
