Sr. Financial Analyst, Supply Chain (Open to Remote)
Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for partnering with distribution and fulfillment leaders to improve visibility to key performance indicators and to synchronize operational plans with financial projections. Specific responsibilities include forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, capital project analysis, presentations, and general business partner support. Key partners include senior management within distribution and fulfillment centers, transportation, other finance teams, and accounting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain lines of communication with relevant business partners. Develop understanding of key business drivers and trends. Become a trusted finance partner.
- Update projections and communicate risks and opportunities on a weekly basis.
- Run the annual budgeting process. Coordinate with business partners to incorporate all relevant drivers and trends.
- Maintain capital expenditure projection and budget. Assist business partners with analysis of capital investments and presentation to senior management.
- Prepare and present slides for business reviews and other high-level meetings.
- Partner with accounting to ensure accurate accruals and correct coding for invoices.
- Additional responsibilities could include ad-hoc projects, contract negotiations, etc.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Hyperion Planning experience valued but not required
- Detail-oriented
- Highly motivated, curious self-starter with desire to own processes end to end
- Ability to multi-task to accommodate several projects and initiatives in a changing environment
- Communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Work well in both a team environment and independently
- Determine and develop approaches and solutions to complex problems
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (retail experience preferred, but not required)
Education:
- Undergraduate (B.S./B.A.) degree is required. Preference for quantitative majors (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA is valued but not required
- Knowledge of finance/GL packages; Hyperion or similar is valued but not required
