Sr. Financial Operations Reporting Analyst

The Role:

Fetch is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Reporting Analyst to support the Financial Operations team in establishing and generating key performance indicator (KPI) reports. Reporting to the Senior Director, Financial Operations, the ideal candidate will exhibit self-motivation, analytical prowess, attention to detail, and effectively implement various dashboards to showcase KPI historical trends and forecast future outcomes. Additionally, the candidate must showcase exceptional reporting knowledge and problem-solving skills. 

Remote Flexibility: 

Ideally, this person will be based near our workspaces in Birmingham or Chicago with no in office mandates, but we are absolutely a remote flexible workplace, so fully remote candidates should apply. These are the offices where your immediate team would be located and would give local candidates the option for on-site collaboration. 

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Develop business reports and financial models that provide insight into key performance indicators across the Financial Operations team such as DSO, DPO, AR aging details, cash forecasting, etc. 
• Specialize in financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial information is available to stakeholders.
• Create and/or optimize dashboards to streamline visibility into key financial metrics for senior management. 
• Monitor data to identify trends and/or changes in trends; provide actionable insights to management and escalate any material changes to KPIs.
• Meet regularly with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment with financial goals and reporting standards.
• Support various departments, including Collections, Billing, Accounts Payable and Cash, in reaching their goals through analysis.
• Regularly examine the quality of data and reports to identify errors and resolve mistakes throughout.
• Accurately analyze and communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to key stakeholders.

Skills and experience we believe you will need for this position:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related fields. 
• At least 5 years of similar work experience, including specialization in financial reporting. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
• Ability to use SQL, Microsoft Excel (macros, data analysis), and Tableau to create pivot tables, graphs, charts and dashboards.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse. 
• Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business reporting challenges.
• General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow. 

Compensation: 

• At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. We also offer all employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
