Job Summary:

Sharecare is looking for an experienced Sr. FP A Analyst to be a key member of the Corporate Finance team. This position will support the financial and business planning activities of the Company's Shared Services group through hands on forecasting, budgeting, vendor accruals, variance analysis and various reporting. The position will provide finance support for the corporate shared service departments, assist with monthly close and consolidated reporting as well as be a critical team member in the implementation and administration of our new budgeting and planning tool.

*This is a remote position that can be located anywhere within the United States.

Essential Job Functions:

* Work with shared service department owners and finance leads within the company to establish and develop budgets and monthly forecasts. This includes the development of underlying assumptions and coordination of planning activities within assigned areas of responsibility.
* Perform monthly close duties which may include but not limited to vendor expense tracking, cost accruals, preparation of monthly financial decks, and bank reporting etc.
* Update and maintain forecasts in the budget and planning tool (PBCS / Adaptive).
* Compare actual results to historical results, budgets, and forecasts. Prepare and report meaningful variance analyses of selected items to influence decision-making.
* Contribute to the development of financial strategy in meetings with FP A team, including the development of action plans and implementation of action items.
* Assist with the implementation of new forecasting tool planned for mid-2022. Work directly with the finance team leaders to assist with the modeling architecture, development, and testing.
* Perform administrative tasks to support and structure of our budgeted and planning tool and assist with monthly reconciliation between various systems.
* Develop and maintain the shared service allocations for assigned areas by working with department owners to devise allocation methodology/assumptions based on resource utilization.
* Work cross-functionally with numerous internal management teams, such HR, Marketing, Accounting, Legal, Finance, and other Departments to deliver accurate and scalable reporting of Actuals and variances to budget/forecast while recommending further course of action.
* Perform ad hoc reporting, analytics, and modeling for special projects to support strategic decision making

Requirements

Qualifications:

* 3-5 years of relevant corporate or operations finance experience.
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required (M.B.A. is a plus).
* Experience in healthcare is a plus, but not required.
* Experience in a fast paced, rapidly changing work environment is beneficial.
* High degree of proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with Oracle Accounting and Workday is a plus, but not required.
