Sr. FP&A Manager

As a Sr FP&A Manager, you will lead and manage a team in support of the financial planning operations. Duties will include coordinating strategic planning across the enterprise, preparing financial statements, supporting financial reviews, managing rate affordability/indirect expenses, and tracking program performance. You will also provide key analytics and guidance on opportunities to improve business performance, as well as serve as a core liaison between the finance, accounting teams, and business operations teams.
Sierra Space-based in Louisville, CO with operations in Madison, WI, Durham, NC, Huntsville, AL, Houston, TX, and Kennedy Space Center, FL-designs and manufactures the Dream Chaser spaceplane and other advanced spacecraft, commercial space destinations, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers, and international organizations. Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Demonstrated experience of Profit and Loss statements
• Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections

Preferred:

• Typically, 5 -10 years of relevant experience
• Prior FP&A experience at the business unit or corporate level
• Broad understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong background in DoD and government contracting / project accounting / indirect rates
• Prior experience with SAP ERP and/or ORACLE EPM (or HFM/Hyperion/Smart View/Essbase)
• Advanced degree or license in a related field (MBA, CPA, MS Accounting, etc.)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $138,634.92 - $190,623.01. Sierra Space considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
