About this job

As aiCrossingSenior Front End Engineeryou'll be instrumental in innovating anddeveloping immersive digital experiences on cutting edge,large-scale, enterprise consumer facing websites. You'll be successful by leveraging your technicalfront end development expertise to build these websites on an enterprise content management system (CMS).

What you'll do

• Develop front end code for highly visible marketing and eCommerce Websites.
• Implement high fidelity, responsive front-end layouts from creative comps.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front end code in applications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility of front-end code across devices.
• Be a key part of an application development project team comprised of onshore and offshore developers using Scrum ceremonies and methodologies
• Collaborate with Technical Managers to estimate specific work assignments, ensure the quality of your deliverables and provide status updates and highlight issues.
• You will participate in all Scrum processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Retrospectives.

Who you are

• 4+ years of experience building websites.
• You have a solid understanding ofHTML5, CSS (SASS/Less) and JavaScript.
• Modern web development practicesincludingimplementing responsive design and mobile first layouts.
• JavaScript libraries such as React or Angular Experience.
• Node-based workflow and build systems such as Webpack.
• Adeptness atGIT and best practices for version control across distributed teams.
• Proficient with multilingual website development.
• Knowledge of working with git and shells in a terminal on daily basis.
• Skills at setting your local development environment tooling and deploying code to a remote server environment.

Great if you also have

• AEM Developer Certification
• Experience withAEM applications using version 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Experience with custom components using HTL.
• Worked with custom templates (Editable and Static).
• Worked with custom client libraries.
• An understanding of integration of web pages and applications with RESTful webservices.
• Ability to establish presentation layer technical requirements.
• Experience producing interim deliverables (such as style guide components, technical specifications, browser + market analysis, prototypes, proofs of concept, etc.) to the final live site or application.
• Participatedin authoring of technical and business requirement documentation.
• Some proficiency in UX design, information architecture and/or graphic design, but prefer to code!
