Position Overview:

Solid Power is seeking a Sr. Functional Leader SAP GRC to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry by developing next-generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast‐paced, collaborative team environment. The individual must have experience designing, managing, supporting, and implementing SAP GRC solutions and SAP role-based security functionality and ancillary systems such as SAP Fiori, SAP SAC, BPC, Concur, and similar.

Job Duties:

  • Directly responsible for ensuring the successful day-to-day management of the operation of SAP GRC and related business systems and applications security to ensure effective business operations.
  • Actively design SAP Access roles and access reviews in collaboration with the SAP security team and the Internal controls team.
  • Implement the solution architecture for and the maintenance of the SAP GRC module or its alternatives.
  • Support estimating, scoping, and sequencing of projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Improve, enhance, and configure Access control and drive the roadmap, automation and optimization of SOX control processes.
  • Regularly audit and review roles and assignments for segregation of duties conflicts, compliance with company policies and the SOX rule set.
  • Act as a consultant for the business, and a liaison between Internal Controls and IT teams, ensuring security processes for systems aligning with business needs, architecture and technical standards.
  • On an ongoing basis, conduct security assessments and audits of SAP Application portfolio to identify and resolve issues, weaknesses and gaps in processes and technology.
  • SOX Rule building in GRC Access Control and Process Control, GRC Workflow customization.
  • Effectively handle stakeholder expectations while judging several high priority activities.
  • Consults with senior management and key stakeholders to exchange information, present new approaches, and discuss equipment/system changes.
  • Work closely with Internal Audit team to deliver necessary SOD compliance and ITGC policies and standards.
  • Fosters a work environment that encourages a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, improving operations, streamlining work operations, and providing quality customer service.
  • Establish goals, performance, and accountability measures to ensure that team members meet timelines and goals, work within budgetary guidelines, and provide customer and service delivery.
  • Manage associated operating expense, and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Keep up with changes in the SAP GRC and SAP Security technology and regulation ecosystem to improve business processes, business systems performance, and productivity.
  • Participate in developing the department’s annual budget, including but not limited to forecasting for staffing, projects, equipment, materials, and supplies.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, or Business Information Systems Management.
  • Strong interpersonal / customer service skills
  • Ability to utilize Agile and Lean methodologies for project management and continuous improvement methodologies in IT.
  • Minimum of 3-5 SAP implementations in relevant SAP GRC and SAP Security Functional Area
  • Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementation as a functional team lead, implementation manager, solution architect, or lead consultant
  • Preferred, but not mandatory – experience with S/4 implementation in the SAP functional areas
  • Mandatory experience with SAP Fiori and S/4 Security design and principles.
  • Mandatory experience with GRC solutions such as FastPath, ERP Maestro, SAP GRC and similar.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Adherence to project timelines and successful completion
  • Must be comfortable with uncertainty. Projects and assignments will change rapidly, so the candidate must be flexible enough to accommodate changing priorities and timelines
  • The ability to work with different departments and teams to gather business requirements and communicate findings and practices company-wide
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000/year
