Sr. Functional Analyst SAP MM-PP

Position Overview:

Solid Power is seeking a Sr. Functional Leader SAP MM-PP (Materials Management and Production Planning) to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry by developing next-generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast‐paced, collaborative team environment. The individual must have experience designing, managing, supporting, and implementing SAP MM-PP functionality and ancillary systems such as SAP WM (warehouse management), manufacturing execution Systems, and master data governance. Solid Power is a manufacturer in the chemical industry that will be implementing SAP’s s/4 Hana release for all business modules. This position will lead the IT effort to implement at existing and future plant sites.

Job Duties:

• Directly responsible for ensuring the successful day-to-day support of the operations of SAP MM-PP and related business systems and applications to ensure effective business operations.
• Lead and direct teams to analyze functional business requirements and collaborate with business leaders to implement new solutions to achieve technical specifications and budget expectations.
• Consults with senior management and key stakeholders to exchange information, present new approaches, and discuss equipment/system changes.
• Fosters a work environment that encourages a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, improving operations, streamlining work operations, and providing quality customer service.
• Keep up with changes in the SAP MM-PP functionality to improve business processes, business systems performance, and productivity.
• Participate in developing the department’s annual budget, including but not limited to forecasting for staffing, projects, equipment, materials, and supplies.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher), Computer Science or Business Information Systems Management or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to utilize Agile and Lean methodologies for project management and continuous improvement to eliminate waste, improve accuracy and build quality into processes.
• Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP MM-PP Functional Area implementations as a functional team lead, implementation manager, solution architect, or lead consultant.
• Preferred, but not mandatory – experience with S/4 implementation in the SAP MM-PP functional areas of logistics in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred, but not mandatory – experience with SAP Ariba, SAP IBP, or SAP APO implementations.
• Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Strong team player with interpersonal / customer service skills.
• Must be comfortable with uncertainty. Projects and assignments will change rapidly, so the candidate must be flexible enough to accommodate changing priorities and timelines
• The ability to work with different departments and teams to gather business requirements and communicate findings and practices company-wide
• Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Salary Range: $61,000 - $114,000/year
