Sr. Global Equity & Payroll Solutions Specialist
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are hiring a Sr. Manager, Global Equity & Payroll Solutions, to join our Payroll team, delivering equity solutions to our clients’ employees across the globe. This role requires a professional with demonstrated expertise with global equity programs and platforms, and handling multiple equity award types, transaction volume, and accounting and employee education programs. This individual will report to the Vice President of Payroll.
This role and its primary team are based remotely in the United States but will serve global partners and employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and administer global equity programs for our supported employees in collaboration with company Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and HR teams, as well as external partners.
- Support Global Payroll Transformation team with payroll process and/or systems projects.
- Lead implementation of equity program administration in new countries and develop a framework to support equity programs.
- Manage supported employee equity program education.
- Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead equity communications, including supporting employee understanding of equity awards and programs through the preparation of written materials, live and recorded webcasts, and/or one-on-one employee meetings and videos.
- Ensure quality control of the record-keeping system for equity data.
- Ensure the team reconciles transactions, termination dates, tax withholding and reporting, and other items as required accurately and timely.
- Work with internal and external Legal advisors to stay abreast of international developments and updates to requirements.
- Manage communications with supported employees and clients regarding equity programs, plan provisions, and ad hoc updates.
- Research and analyze programs, processes and procedures to make recommendations and improvements.
- Effectively and promptly respond to and resolve employee equity inquiries and concerns within established SLAs.
- Collaborate closely with the Payroll Specialist to process equity transactions.
- Assist with global mobility processing and compliance for equity transactions.
- Contribute new ideas to innovate and transform existing programs/processes and introduce new programs to enable a flexible, scalable, compliant global equity program function.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- 7+ years in payroll and equity.
- 3+ years experience in equity supporting the company's stock/equity programs for a multinational company.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Solid understanding of equity administration function and experience with global securities and tax filings.
- Hands-on experience with an outsourced equity platform.
- Demonstrated expertise with global equity programs and platforms, and handling multiple equity award types, transaction volume, and accounting and employee education programs.
- Advanced analytical ability, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive compensation data.
- Active listening skills, including assessing needs, changing approach/delivery in real-time, and communicating complex equity programs in simple terms.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and HR systems (ADP experience preferred).
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or in the process of obtaining strongly preferred.
