Sr. Global Product Manager (Smith & Nephew, Inc., Austin, TX): Serve as the Marketing function lead on product development teams for the assigned franchise. Prepare financial analyses, business plans to support new product development programs, gather competitive intelligence and develop relevant market models to support the assigned product categories. Manage a defined set of products within a franchise. Develop programs in collaboration with the commercial marketing teams to drive sales force readiness and achieve revenue targets for the assigned product lines. Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, 9am-5pm. USD$103,000/year.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science with 2 years of experience in the job offered or related role in the medical device industry. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Providing real-time, in-surgery support and guidance on the use of Sports Medicine and Trauma products to orthopedic surgeons in Australia / New Zealand.
• Selling Sports Medicine and Trauma products to Orthopedic surgeons in Australia / New Zealand.
• Selling Sports Medicine and Trauma products in an Asia Pacific Country that features Universal Healthcare / Socialized Medicine.
• Knowledge of market for Radio Frequency based ablation technologies for Arthroscopy.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience using or developing Challenger Selling messages for medical devices.

Must be able and willing to travel nationally and internationally up to 50% of the time.
