Job Summary
The Senior Graphic Designer will provide creative execution and production of luxury print, digital and multimedia projects including, but not limited to marketing campaigns, visual elements, video, website, and all other branded content. This role will contribute to the ongoing development of branding for style guides and portfolios across the organization.
Essential Functions
- Design and develop creative assets including but not limited to promotional campaigns, digital and print brochures, onboard collateral and signage, trade support materials, email campaigns, digital advertising, website content and video creation/editing while maintaining graphic and visual consistency across all deliverables
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and outside vendors on the execution of video production from beginning to end for both repurposed and original content, in addition to participating in scheduling and coordinating video and photo shoots
- Embrace the brand and style guidelines and how that translates to video and motion
- Evolve and elevate creative assets on an ongoing basis across all mediums and channels, producing high-quality illustrative assets - while still following pre-set brand guidelines
- Participate in ideation sessions and collaboration efforts with Designers, Copywriters, Digital and Marketing teams in the development of new product and campaign ideas
- Present creative concepts as proofs to Creative Director and in weekly creative reviews with the broader team(s).
- Develop relationships with cross-functional partners within the organization to ensure alignment of the brand's visual presence and voice when creating projects and content
- Assist with assessing creative briefs and assigning projects to designers and copywriters as needed along with implementing project deadlines and goals, expectations, and workflows to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery
- Provide coaching, design feedback, and direction to in-house graphic designers and freelancers as needed
Competency
Education: BA or equivalent experience in graphic design, fine arts, visual communication, or related field
Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience working as a graphic designer and video editor
Skills:
- The position requires imagination, originality, and talent in the field of graphic design and video production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, Premier Pro, After Effects)
- Minimum 3+ years of video production and editing experience
- Advanced typography skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, OneNote)
- Detail-oriented with good organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Forward-thinker and planner
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to all aspects of job functions
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, working at least two (2) days a week in our downtown Fort Lauderdale office. Occasional travel may be required at times.
