Sr. Hardware Engineer (Atlanta-Based)

Position Summary:

 We are hiring a Sr. Hardware Engineer focused on the development of state-of-the-art embedded wireless products. You’ll be responsible for critical hardware designs including product architecture, schematics and PCB layouts. You will also specify and lead firmware development teams.

 Responsibilities:

• Work with product management to capture key design requirements for new wireless sensor and infrastructure products
• Design PCBs using tools such as Altium
• Manage contract designers
• Select active and passive components and negotiate supply agreements with key suppliers
• Specify and manage firmware development
• Develop test plans and procedures

Required Skills and Experience:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred
• 10+ years of hardware design experience
• Deep experience with embedded design including MCUs, power converters, RF devices and FPGAs
• Mastery of EDA tools for schematic and PCB design
• Competency in analog circuit design and analysis using tools such as SPICE
• Self-directed and ready to collaborate with both internal and external developers
