We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, dedicated people to join Alcon as a Sr. HR Business Partner supporting our Manufacturing siteYou will be trusted to work on a specialized type of HR functions focused on developing and leading leaders of our manufacturing business at our Johns Creek, GA location. In this role, a typical day will include:

• HR advising and coaching (e.g., working with business leaders to solve significant people and cultural issues, provides expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc.)
• Enabling business change (e.g., supporting the talent aspects of organization structure changes, talent integration related to mergers & acquisitions, etc.)
• HR program advocacy (e.g., communicating the business value of HR initiatives, leading HR program roll out to minimize business disruption, etc.)
• Using analytics and insights to improve people and workforce management.
• Partner with managers and associates to deliver core HR services.
• Deliver annual people processes; have in-depth knowledge of local talent and provide mentorship to managers to help them accelerate talent readiness. The HRBP brings a deep understanding of local business needs. Gives HR point of view into business issues and supports diagnostic interventions to deliver local solutions.
• Collaborate on a regular basis with HR COEs and HR Services on design and execution of solutions and service delivery to clients. Implement critical initiatives and other enterprise-wide initiatives and HR programs to support Alcon associates, including compensation, performance, employee relations and engagement, culture, and talent development initiatives.

What you'll bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.; Assoc.+9 yrs.; M.S.+2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Strong learning and development skills
• Roll up your sleeves mentality, passionate learner and highly engaged
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
