Job Description

Who we are

Path is a healthtech company dedicated to making mental health care work for everyone. Path takes a patient-first approach, where treatment is more accessible, personalized, and effective. With Path, it’s easy to find a high-quality therapist or psychiatric clinician who accepts insurance and is actively accepting new patients.

What we’re solving

Over 65 million Americans have a treatable mental health issue — that’s 1 in 5 people. Today it’s difficult to find a provider, and for those with complicated conditions, it’s nearly impossible to find coordinated care. We’re here to fix this.

Our Mission

Path's mission is to make mental healthcare work for everyone.

About The Role

Our People Operations team is hiring our first Senior HR Business Partner to join the team! You’ll be a trusted business partner to our leaders and their teams, helping us implement company-wide people programs and policies. You’ll advise and coach on several key areas such as performance management, hiring, succession planning, leveling, career development, employee relations, recognition programs, and more to help grow and retain our employees.

We want Path to be a place where team members can do their career's best work and your role will be instrumental in making that happen. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner who is very comfortable rolling up their sleeves and executing. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you can balance being both empathetic and firm while having an easy time building relationships and gaining the trust and respect of your colleagues. While we have a solid foundation in place, there’s still a lot of room for you to put your own stamp on our people strategies.

You Will

  • General

  • Hiring & Onboarding

    • Partner with function leads/managers on workforce planning and hiring – review headcount requests and assigned leveling and collaborate on hiring guides.

    • Review 30/60/90 plans for incoming hires.

  • Career Development & Performance Management

    • Support managers as they work on individual development plans with their teams, identifying short and long-term career goals and a path toward achieving those goals.

    • Support managers with promotion planning and requests.

    • Coach managers/leaders on accurate performance assessment ratings during review cycles.

    • Support managers and functional leaders with department-specific leveling frameworks.

  • Employee relations

    • Stay in the know on employment legislation and regulations.

    • Help managers and leaders navigate highly sensitive and complex personnel issues as well as termination conversations.

    • Help managers develop, communicate, and facilitate performance improvement plans if necessary.

    • Investigate any formal HR complaints that have been made within their business units.

  • Org development and change management

    • Work with business unit leaders as a thought partner on org design/development – help identify gaps on the team (roles and/or structure), collaborate on ideal candidate profiles for current/future roles, and advise on how to structure the team appropriately in order to meet the department’s goals.

    • Ensure a change management plan is in place for any org changes and that managers are following our employee change process. Work with leaders on a communications and roll-out plan.

You Are
