Position Summary:
A key member of the Peripheral Intervention (PI) HR team that will work closely with business leaders and associates to ensure effective onboarding of associates, with a specific focus on field sales associates. Will also facilitate the understanding of HR processes, policies, and systems. Provide ongoing support in HR policies, benefits, talent acquisition, Workday, onboarding, offboarding, payroll and reporting requirement. The position will also support the HR function in employee activities, support of associate resource groups, communication and assist with administrative duties as needed.
This position reports directly to the Director of HR and is based in Tempe, AZ. This position is expected to work a hybrid work schedule (office and remote) and is not available for 100% remote work.
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):
- Responsible for ensuring new hires have all tools and resources needed as of their first day, to include a full onboarding of all HR related benefits and policies, in addition to orientation of PI business
- Coordinates and facilitates on-site and/or virtual new employee orientations for field based and/or Tempe based associates. To include completion of all required new hire documents.
- Responds to questions or concerns related to payroll and PTO for all associates.
- Provides exceptional and timely responses to all levels of associates related to HR questions.
- Prepares and distributes various HR reports (i.e., turnover, sales openings, new hires & transfers, terminations)
- Conducts exit interviews as needed for associates. Provides a recap of exit interviews and related trends.
- Lead small on-site projects or activities to continuously improve our culture, HR service delivery model, business goals and objectives.
- Supports and coordinates employee activities as needed and various on-site events.
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an HR environment as a HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar role.
- A BS or BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Experience working on key HR activities such as any of the following: payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications and HR systems, preferably Workday.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain HR policies and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to quickly change directions and priorities based on the needs of the team and business.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR certification preferred but not required
- Experience supporting leaders at all levels in a large global organization is preferred
- Experience in ADP/eTime, Workday, Fieldglass, SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Forms.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use sight, and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls, and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to verbally communicate with other associates. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
Work Environment:
