Sr. HR Coordinator

The Sr. HR Coordinator is at the heart of people processes at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. This person will play an integral role in the systems, processes, onboarding, and off-boarding of employees and other programs covering the entire employee life cycle. This position will work as part of the HR team for the Indianapolis locations as well as work with the HR Services team supporting US HR Operations. The HR Coordinator will have a passion for continuous process improvement along with a customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide associates and people leaders with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR leadership.
  • Interpret company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and provide analytics to various stakeholders.
  • Manage relevant communication for client groups.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and investigations.
  • Ambassador for new associate onboarding beginning with the pre-hire process
  • Schedule and conduct New Hire Orientation
  • Create and maintain associate employment files
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Participates in supporting the annual employee programs, including employee performance management process, benefits open enrollment, and other employee programs.
  • Assist with special projects as needed and assigned.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years Human Resources experience is required. (Experience may be waived in lieu of HR Degree).
  • Proven experience working with confidential or sensitive information.
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Workday HRMS experience a plus.
