Sr. HRIS Analyst
Job Description
The Sr. HRIS Analyst will assist the system administrator for the HRIS system and will develop best-in-class programs and provide expert advice to the HR Team and Business leaders. Administers develops and researches the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Configures the system to meet ongoing business needs. Generating and analyzing reporting to support HR functions, including compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics. Ensures that data is accurately processed and maintained according to organization rules and applicable regulations. Responsible for helping to define system requirements and working with external vendors to evaluate and select HRIS software and systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Act as the system administrator for the HRIS system used across our organization.
- Create, process, and troubleshoot errors for data interface to/from the HRIS system of record to/from other vendors, such as benefits, 401k, recognition, L&D, and talent acquisition, etc.
- Work with internal, and/or vendor resources to update HRIS configurations and/or interfaces based on changes needed to support business decisions, such as vendor changes, policy changes, and mergers & acquisitions
- Work with internal teams to improve existing processes regarding data entry & data integrity
- Create & maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven people decisions for business and HR leaders
- Maintain & enhance system expertise by attending training, reviewing updates, and staying current with HRIS and data analytics trends
- Maintain user guides & training materials for timekeeping and HR systems
- Manage the Learning Module in HRIS – working with department leaders and SMEs to get training materials into a format that will work in the HRIS system, uploading training materials, and setting up the rules for assigning training to jobs and frequency of training.
- Diagnose, and assign/resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, etc.
- Troubleshoot system errors and issues as they arise and assess options for resolution; provide support to end-users
- Escalate issues as needed to determine the best possible solution
- Use analytical & written communication skills to create user materials, acceptance criteria, and other supporting specifications.
- Develop, implement, and optimize HRIS processes for efficient HR management
- Integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests
- Document processes and business logic and compile data analysis reports.
- Perform statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and running queries
- Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues
- Consult with the HR team and other departments to determine HRIS needs
- Communicate and collaborate with key partners, facilitating successful change and project management.
- Performing application upgrades, as well as providing training and technical support.
- Performing audits on HR processes and system functionality including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration when required.
- Provide reports and analysis to leadership and other team members to inform and guide decision-making.

- Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.

- 5+ years of experience supporting UltiPro HRIS and experience with HRIS data analytics.
- Expert knowledge of and successful track record managing UltiPro HRIS systems
- Experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics.
- Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
- Well versed in HR business process and employee life cycle
- Knowledge of and experience with Analysis and Reporting tools (BI/Dashboard)
- Knowledge of collaboration, document repository, or intranet systems (like SharePoint)
- Knowledge of documentation, communication, and project management tools like MS Visio, MS Projects, and MS PowerPoint
- Proficient with all types of software platforms (i.e., Desktop, Mobile, Web, etc.)
