What We Need:

Brady Corporation has a rewarding, work-life balanced Sr. Human Resource Manager position at our Milwaukee, WI location. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in all HR functions and a champion of leading change. The Sr. Human Resource Manager is responsible for strategic and tactical HR functions such as HR administration, talent management, employee relations, performance management, worker's compensation, leave management and compliance for multiple sites throughout the United States.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partner with leadership and management teams as well as other HR leaders to execute business strategies that ensure alignment with company goals
  • Partners with all levels of the organization to resolve employee relations, provides coaching on performance management and advises on talent development
  • Ensure leave of absence administration is managed with 3rd party vendor and in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws such as FMLA and the ADA
  • Administer compensation program in accordance with organization policies and applicable laws while ensuring program supports recruitment and retention of the best talent
  • Manages workers' compensation claims, issuing and obtaining claim paperwork, collecting statements, and coordinating with other management team members on doctor's notes and return to work programs
  • Partners with corporate Human Resource team on key company initiatives to ensure collaboration and implementation
  • Serves as an employee and business advocate by applying employment law and regulations, industry trends, Brady policy and practice and business needs
  • Partners with the recruiting team and hiring managers to drive recruitment strategies for select operations and corporate functions: sourcing, interviewing, selection, diversity initiatives and forecasting/planning
  • Leads the organizational talent review process executes talent management priorities for select corporate functions. Partners with the Organizational Development team to lead employee training and continuing professional development.

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant Human Resources experience with a generalist background
  • Experience managing HR leaders at other facilities in various states
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work at a strategic level and able to execute on day-to-day operational/administrative matters
