Position Summary
Antora is looking for an experienced Sr. Human Resources Manager to scale our people practices, policies, and systems through our next phase of growth. Our People & Culture team strives to enable our employees to do their best work while creating a positive, inclusive, and healthy culture guided by Antora's core values: Team and Mission First, Joy and Laughter Connect Us, and Built With Openness and Humility.
In this role, you will be tasked with building out Antora’s core HR processes as we grow from 55 employees today to over 150 in the next several years. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our team’s employment needs and have the opportunity to lay the operational foundation for our culture as we scale. You will be joining a deeply mission-driven team committed to solving climate change for the future of humanity and focused on building an organization that reflects our mission and values as we grow.
This role reports to the Head of People & Culture.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build out and manage Antora’s core HR processes: employment policies, benefits, compensation, career ladders, payroll, employee relations, and performance reviews.
- Own the relationship with our outside HR vendors and oversee the day-to-day administration of the employee lifecycle based on our policies.
- Design and implement HR processes and policies in alignment with Antora’s core values as we scale from 50 to 150+ employees over the next two years.
- Develop analytics and feedback mechanisms to track our HR processes and drive continual improvement.
- Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to manage our hiring process and deliver an engaging and welcoming onboarding experience for new employees.
- Partner with the Head of People & Culture to provide situational coaching to managers and leadership in response to real-time HR needs.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in HR or People Operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, best practices and employment laws.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think holistically about company values and be able to create communications, processes, and policies that reflect those values.
- Skilled listener and empathetic communicator able to navigate difficult conversations with humanity, keeping the best interests of the individual and the business in mind.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills both written and verbal; able to interface fluidly with all members of our organization and external stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications Desired
- Bachelors and/or Masters in human resources, business administration, or similar field.
- Experience navigating the transition from 50-100+ employees in a rapidly growing startup.
- Knowledge of talent acquisition practices and procedures.
- Passion for Antora’s mission to stop climate change for the future of humanity.
Work Location: Remote with occasional onsite work
Salary Range: $140,000 USD - $165,000 USD
Salary Basis: Annual

The actual salary offered will be determined within the posted range based on a candidate's experience, credentials, and expertise as they pertain to the requirements of the position.
