COMPENSATION: $91,500 to 107,700 annually + bonus eligibility (if applicable). This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Role is responsible for deployment of Restaurant Technologies as KFC IT looks to transcend it's digital footing in the restaurants. Focused strategies for IT related hardware involving selection, installation efforts, and reporting cadence back to respective stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management (60%)

  • Coordinate and lead installation efforts for YumPOS, Touch KDS, and Edge/4th switch projects.
  • Assist with architecting and designing solutions with close cross-functional partnership with the installation vendors, internal KFC teams including LT.
  • Conduct well developed planning and project scopes for restaurants to ensure proper solutions are applicable for IT related products.
  • Close review and evaluation of site survey data to make informed business decisions with Franchisees and guide appropriately for best-in-class solutions.
  • Attend all necessary meetings and touchpoints with strong communication back to KFC leadership.
  • Tracking/Reporting - work to help maintain current tools in place today and develop ongoing strategies to clearly define stakeholder deliverables.
  • Openly willing to adapt and pivot to find productive/creative solutions for ongoing installations. This will be key to a successful rollout for all programs as many restaurants have heavy variations across the US system.
  • Consistent review and evaluation of program progress. Defining and exploring efficiencies with the program and closely partnering with our internal team to provide solutions.
  • Coach and lead 1 direct report, Contractor, to assist with many logistical components of deployment.

Program Design and Architecture (25%)

  • Conduct RFX process for hardware deployment while adhering to brand business models outlining cost savings and driving operational simplification.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership with software teams and other internal teams to ensure proper cadence and timing of solutions for restaurants.
  • Help assist and maintain Asset Management tools and CMBD for continued reliability.

Lead IT setup for New Restaurant Openings (15%)

  • Heavy focus on scoping efforts and coordination with Franchise partners that are opening new restaurants.
  • Help manage deployment and installation efforts for KFC IT equipment; closely partnering with respective vendors and KFC Development teams.
  • Manage survey results and responses from Franchise partners to ensure preparedness and help drive an overall best in class experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

Education:

  • Business or Technology related Bachelor's Degree or related equivalent experience

Experience (and other qualifications):

  • 5+yrs of experience within restaurant or retail IT
  • Strong Project management skills - proven track record of meeting project timelines and keeping stakeholders informed of progress
  • Ability to establish strategic vision for hardware deployments and roadmaps
  • Proven ability to interact and influence leadership personnel from key vendors
  • Ability to represent the brand to outside vendors involving negotiations, RFP's, and program design
