The Sr. Information Security Engineer is responsible for supporting information security solutions measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. This role will be key in implementing security best practices, industry security standards, security technologies, and cloud security. CISSP or relevant certification desired, significant work experience in an Information Security engineer/analyst role is required.
- Analyze business/technology requirements and outline the proposed technology
- Engineer and integrate solutions to a point of production readiness, including all documentation, testing, deployment, and support procedures to meet requirements and service levels.
- Plan, coordinate and execute the implementation of new applications or enhancements to existing security applications.
- Develop and implement security protocols to ensure the integrity of systems.
- Responsible for Identifying, troubleshoot, enhance, and monitor application related issues and create knowledge bases to prevent reoccurrence
- Administer security applications suites include but not limited to Anti-Virus, certificate management, WS-Fed, CyberArk and SSO.
- Establish strong working relationships with cross functional teams and managers to collaborate on projects
- Provide timely status updates on assigned projects and communicate risks as applicable
- Perform timely incident requests handling within our SLA
- Manage workload to deliver agreed upon project milestones.
- Perform health checks and performance monitoring for applications or servers under the Information Security umbrella using Splunk to ensure reliability and service quality.
- Provide technical input to project plans as necessary
- Utilize automation tools including Github and Ansible for auto-provisioning
- Collaborate with application vendors on the remediation of application vulnerabilities where applicable and staying up to date with industry trends
- Serve as contact to resolve system outages with high impact and visibility
- Execute provisioning process for applications and tools include but not limited to Azure Conditional Access Policy, Enterprise application, Key vaults, AS400, Mainframe
- Responsible for generating audit reports as requested
- Administer the CyberArk Privilege Access Management suite
- Support Disaster Recovery and Business continuity exercises
Experience/Skills Required:
- 8 + Years of work experience in the Information Security field
- Experience with automated provisioning of user access through IAM Solution
- Experience with MainFrame access management
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, Azure AD
- Experience with SAML, Federation technologies, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, Radius
- Experience with AS400 access management
- Experience with Anti-Virus technologies
- Experience with Certificate Management solutions
- Experience with Cloud security solutions
- Experience with Automation Tools (Github, Ansible)
- Experience with Splunk
- Experience with CyberArk
- Experience with Powershell and Python scripting
- Experience with Disaster Recovery
- In depth knowledge of how to secure applications ensuring company data is protected and only accessed by authorized personnel
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in supporting internal and external audits related to PCI and SO
- Experience in full lifecycle software development
