Sr. Information Systems Operations Administrator

Details:

• Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting of all Data within EOG
• Granting access for users and user groups for both data access and data system's access
• Notifies management of any issues relating to data that might occur during operations
• Update and assist with maintaining any systems relating to infrastructure
• Assist divisions with configuring and maintaining their infrastructure and data systems
• Maintains contact with the vendor infrastructure companies to assure that all requirements are met and to make changes to the data where required
• Provide support including server issues, connection problems and internal issues.
• Establish documentation to a level by which processes are reproducible by others
• If certified, can perform equipment setup on rigs

Job Requirements

Details:

• Minimum 3 Years' Experience in Oil and Gas Industry
• Demonstrated technical capabilities are a must, as are people skills. This position requires an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders
• Strong Customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with ability to recognize and solve problems
• Solid experience with Microsoft/Windows environments (e.g. Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft technologies)
• Experience troubleshooting Linux operating systems is recommended

Special Job Characteristics:

• May travel (10%) to division locations to assist as needed
• Required to carry a mobile phone and to be on-call during off-hours as necessary
• Desire and dedication to to get the job done
• Must be a team player
