What We Need:
The Sr. Inside Sales Manager sets the Inside Sales strategic direction and priorities, while playing a critical role in driving growth and profitability at Brady by establishing and implementing a well-defined multibrand Inside Sales plan for both proactive selling and lead follow-up activities; defining, implementing, and holding the leaders accountable to team performance metrics; and coordinating efforts with other cross-functional sales teams to improve overall success rates.
Manages a team of leaders consisting of Inside Sales - Construction, Inside Sales - Visual Workplace Safety, and Inside Sales - Product Wire Identification
What You'll Be Doing:
- Act as the primary inside sales point contact and voice of inside sales.
- Perform as the liaison between product management and operations teams to ensure communication and collaboration.
- Motivate and manage a team of Inside Sales leaders to drive their teams to generate sales growth in respective region(s), brands, and channels
- Responsible for development and execution of a roadmap of projects and strategies that will increase service, operational efficiency, synergy, and productivity
- Establish and monitor all KPIs to optimize Sales execution
- Coach teams to achieve key measurements, including total revenue, average order value, outbound activity level, pipeline management, and other relevant metrics
- Collaborate with other departments monitor external trends to drive continuous improvement, implement training, automation and development of core competencies and sales techniques
- Establish and maintain an ongoing recruiting strategy to feed pipeline for long-term inside and outside sales personnel needs
- Establish mutual goals with outside sales organization and review the activities and results to those goals with the sales leadership team on a set cadence
- Develop document the optimal sales process to be utilized by each team
- Identify and prioritize gaps negatively impacting customer experience or inefficiencies within the business
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field
- Flexibility to travel between inside sales offices in the U.S. and Canada(estimated 20% travel)
- Proven proficiency for sales processes data based decision making
- Minimum five years of leadership experience, with multiple sites, in a service or customer facing business to business environment
- Understanding of how to drive excitement, morale, enthusiasm, and high energy throughout an inside sales organization in a multi-channel environment preferred
- Proven track record of negotiating with customers, creating need, and generating interest via inside sales techniques
- Experience operating in a well-structured CRM environment. Salesforce.com preferred
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal)
- Proven analytical ability
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and other defined KPIs
