Sr. Inside Sales Manager

What we’re looking for…
ScienceLogic is looking for hands-on leader to join our inside sales organization. The successful candidate will manage a remote team of Inside Sales Reps and be responsible for business pipeline development. The Inside Sales Manager formulates and implements the sales strategy to grow overall sales revenue and market share, with an emphasis on coaching his/her inside sales team. You will be responsible for supporting successful implementation of commercial business programs driven at the business unit level.
Prior experience leading an inside sales organization is preferred. Candidates must have strong business development and communication skills combined with a basic understanding of technology infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing…
- Lead and enable the inside sales team to achieve strategic goals related to revenue generation, profit attainment, and growth goals including market share through utilization of effective sales management process.
- Motivate and manage Inside Sales professionals to drive pipeline development and revenues.
- Manage day-to-day operations of inside and sales development reps, setting expectations and ensuring goals are being met.
- Manage marketing generated leads and work closely with Field Sales on a team driven sales approach.
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts and track sales activity leveraging SFDC.
- Effectively coach, counsel, train and develop all sales employees. Drive continuous improvement through company performance management and personal development processes, as well as sales-focused mentoring programs.
- Stay current on market intelligence and develop relationships within the industry to increase external awareness of the competitive landscape and gain market share.
Qualities you possess…
- BS/BA in Business or related field with 4+ years sales management experience
- Experience managing a virtual or remote team preferred.
- Experience in enterprise sales required, Network Management software industries strongly preferred.
- Exceptional command of enterprise sales methodologies and the ability to coach to it.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, collaborator, and networker/connector, bringing people together and drive actions to their natural conclusion.
- Hands-on leader who enjoys ownership of process improvement.
- Well-developed business acumen, understanding of business strategy and executive presence.
- Conflict management skills, with the ability to be fair and firm.
- Proven ability to gain trust across internal functional leaders and regional leaders.
- Ability to determine strategy and build tactical plans that deliver tangible results.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate the corporate vision, strategies, and complex technology simply.
- Ability to use Microsoft 365, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and other sales enablement tools.
