Sr. Instructional Design Associate

Ripple Effect is looking for a Senior Instructional Design Associate who designs learning solutions targeted at employees or clients of the organization. Someone who collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure that content is accurate and thorough. They will utilize multiple formats, including print, audio, visual, and multimedia, and select the appropriate format for the target audience or content. This person will also evaluate the results of training programs and modify future programs to better meet training goals.

Responsibilities

• Developing a training framework/curriculum
  • Managing course development/design processes
  • Evaluating course design
  • Applying best practices related to adult learning
  • Designing, developing, and delivering training programs
  • Possessing comprehensive knowledge of instructional design models and best

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 years of relevant experience

Basic Requirements

• Technical writing and editing
• Quality control of deliverables (consistency, accuracy, etc.)
• Familiarity with AP Stylebook and GPO Style Manual
• Internal/client style guide creation, maintenance, and usage
• Document template creation, maintenance, and usage
• Fundamental understanding of HTML
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Audition
• Design and development of Section 508 compliant online training for adult learners
• Performs work under minimal supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills.
