Description and Requirements
β’ Reviews notifications of death received from multiple sources such as employers, third party administrators, first notice of loss phone department and file feeds to determine where and to whom claim kits are to be mailed.
β’ Review and maintain data in multiple systems such as retrieving beneficiary information, benefit amounts and enrollment history for the claim to be in good order.
β’ Evaluate deaths regarding eligibility and plan requirements to determine appropriateness of claim filing and resolving items not in good order associated with the claim as needed to allow for claim kit mailing.
β’ Providing interdepartmental support, including but not limited to, phone call center, claims review and electronic death match, which is includes regular cross training.
β’ Performs other related duties as assigned or required by business need.
β’ Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple computer software programs simultaneously.
β’ Analyze, validate, identify discrepancies in claims and process transactions as per procedures.
β’ Must have eye to detail approach while working on the claims.
β’ Excellent communication skills required to interact with multiple departments at stateside and GOSC, basis requirement.
β’ Should have strong email comprehend skills & ability to provide resolutions on customer queries & Escalation.
β’ Should have claims product knowledge to manage claims preparation.
β’ Ability to work on routine/standardized transactions.
β’ Knowledge about the US Life Insurance industry ( Life insurance administration )
