This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
As a Senior Investment Accountant, you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by collaborating across multi-channel teams with new technology platforms to autonomize accounting. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of four people with a specialization in derivative investment accounting.
How you will make an impact:
- Enhance automation of subledger account reconciliations.
- Partner with business to onboard new hedging initiatives.
- Ensure control documentation is robust and complete.
The experience you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- 6+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience
- Experience in investment accounting/reporting role a plus
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to coordinate complex deliverables across multiple systems with minimal direction.
What makes you stand out:
- CPA or MBA
- Intermediate EXCEL, Business Objects, PAM Accounting System, Calypso Asset Management.
- Insurance or Financial Services Experience

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$118,800.00 - $145,200.00
