The Investor Relations Analyst will work as an integral member of Curaleaf’s Investor Relations (IR) team to manage investor and buy/sell-side analyst relationships. The analyst will also communicate the Curaleaf story to its broad investor base, including both the institutional and retail investor community, with the goal of increasing awareness of Curaleaf’s business strategy in the cannabis industry. This is a high visibility role that will report to the Chief Investment Officer and require interacting with Curaleaf’s Executive Leadership team and Communications team.Â
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Convey Curaleaf’s strategic messaging to internal and external stakeholders while interacting with senior level leadership across all business units
- Create and update Curaleaf’s marketing materials containing earnings results, quarterly and annual filings, and press releases
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly internal reports prepared for the Executive Leadership team
- Maintain and update internal financial models.
- Monitor Curaleaf and Curaleaf-relevant IR discussions happening on social media channels in an ongoing and coordinated manner with the communications team—inside company channels as well as outside them, across larger social ecosystems.
- Understanding broad and discrete financial and investor discussions happening across the cannabis industry around the retail investor community, for industry advocacy, company strategy, and cannabis leadership.
- Develop and implement specific strategies and tactics for driving prospective investor education and awareness on the cannabis sector.
- Handle all IR and financial-related user interactions on Curaleaf’s channels, including user comments, mentions, complaints, questions, and feedback, ranging across the entire spectrum of sentiment in a timely manner.
- Provide Curaleaf Comms and IR leadership with insights around building meaningful connections with users in the retail investment community.
- Offer regular reports for Curaleaf leadership to continuously learn and be informed about ongoing investor discussions on social media involving the company.
- Travel Requirements: 20%

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in financial services at an investment bank or asset manager, or 3+ years of experience in investor relations
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg
- Excellent comprehension of digital and social media monitoring and analytics tools
- Ability to quickly synthesize information and write 1-page summaries of competitive landscape
- Proficiency to prioritize effectively and diligently manage multiple tasks
- Strong capacity to assist in preparing and updating investor presentation materials
- Competence to collect and manage investor data in internal system
- Capacity to work in a fluid and nimble manner across all major social media platforms relevant to the cannabis industry and retail investor community. Platforms include primarily Twitter, Reddit, but also LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Experience creating weekly and monthly reports on excel, and updates to presentations/factsheet content on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Must be highly collaborative, resourceful, flexible, and adaptable and bring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing details, both independently and in collaboration with members of the organization
- Must be a self-starter and work flexible work hours to meet tight deadlines and deliver results when needed
- Subject to background check per state cannabis regulationsÂ
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail/consumer brands and/or cannabis a plus
NY Hiring range - $100,000 - $145,000 *
