Join us as a Senior Invoicing Specialist

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Invoicing System Set Up Analyst to join the Boston team. The Client Invoicing Team is made up of various globalized teams that fall into functional Chevrons. In this role, you will partner with many internal departments such as Relationship Management, Client Service Groups, Product teams and Systems support to solution and create the Client's Services and Fees within the billing system. You will assess and analyze Clients coding in the system to mitigate risks and ensure controls are followed. The Invoicing System Set Up Analyst will also work on projects to improve workflows and implement operational changes.

• Create Client's fee structure within the billing system by inputting all applicable services and fees
• Create and test new billing rules to code into the system for new services and products
• Partner with Relationship Management and Client Service Groups to solution Client inquiries
• Partner with Product teams to ensure accurate services and fee structures are implemented
• Problem solve with Systems support and/or the System Vendor to solution unique Client fee schedule structures
• Be innovative and drive "outside the box" thinking. Solve difficult problems as needed through proposing insightful, knowledgeable, effective solutions
• Manage inquiries timely and update the inquiry databases and status boards
• Update management reports used by Senior Management
• Escalate issues to management as needed
• Facilitate and/or participate in meetings to provide information and identify and resolve issues
• Generate System Reports and run Hyperion Queries for analysis or back up to invoices
• Participate in the training and support discussions of both internal BBH members and our externalHexaware team to ensure accurate and timely invoices
• Provide oversight, support and controlled handoffs with the team in Hexaware with focus on accuracy and controlled review steps
• Assist in improving/creating documentation that will improve controls such as procedures, job aides, check lists and the Hexaware SOP
• Document issues, communicate root causes and provide innovative solutions to management for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of relevant business experience - operational invoicing or product-Fund Accounting, Custody, Alternatives is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
• Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
• Experience using database query tools - Hyperion a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
