Sr. ISSE (TS/SCI required)

IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer to support our DOD customer. This position is contingent upon Proposal submittal and award of final contract. All offers will be contingent on final award. ITC will communicate timeline and next steps for all roles.

The ISSE will be Responsible for:

• Integration of security architecture & engineering efforts into the information technology life-cycle.
• Integrates security concepts, controls, and mechanisms into the design and architecture phases to produce a reliably secure product.
• Duties include, but are not limited to; architecture, engineering, implementation, integration, maintenance and improvement of systems to meet specific requirements for building software/hardware components and supporting technical infrastructure.
• Additional responsibilities may include technical planning, technical design, development and integration, verification and validation.

Location: Washington DC area

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or other related field.
• Must have Active TS/SCI clearance to apply and be considered
• 10+ years of ISSE experience.

Preferred:

• DoD 8570 IAT-II or above
• DISA AC* Certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP, CCNP Collaboration or BCNE
• Expertise in network technology and systems security engineering
• Experience in identifying, researching, characterizing, and documenting security weaknesses related to operating systems, software applications, firmware, network hardware components, as well as network architecture design and documented policies and procedures
