Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for a top-notch Sr. IT Application Administrator in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA. This position will be responsible for understanding & analyzing business requirements, develop technical design specification & translate design into specifications. Great position for someone who will work well independently and driven to make things happen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Review and evaluate new application request• Interact with business teams for requirement gathering, prepare open items, arrive GAPs, perform Gap analysis, feasibility and Impact analysis, propose solution, Business playback and Prepare Functional / Technical specifications to implement the solution• Coordinate Project activities at each stage of Project life cycle, Review and Mentor Team Members during software configuration & Testing • Define Test scope and strategy, prepare Test cases, build test data, participate in Unit test execution, Integration, Regression and Performance testing• Perform deployment, Cutover and Post Go-Live Support Maintain the health of systems including trend analysis for capacity planning, proactive health assessments for performance tuning and recommendations and implementation of best practices• Open, manage and resolve application issues with external application vendors• Create and maintain technical documentation for environments, including architecture diagram, installation, and configuration procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and operational procedures• Find and execute on process improvement opportunities Installs, configures, and maintains application platforms and systems

Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Engineering with 8+ years of experience as application administrator• Working experience with any large ERP application required• Integration experience with third party applications• Strong troubleshooting skills and should be able to analyze problems working closely with business teams.• Understanding of enterprise business process, a plus• Project management skills • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal

Salary Range

$130,000 - $170,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
